Â鶹AV Board of Regents Committee on Education Policy and Student Life and Safety Meets December 3

Baltimore, Md. (Dec. 2, 2024) – The Â鶹AV (Â鶹AV) Board of Regents Committee on Education Policy and Student Life and Safety will hold its next scheduled meeting at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 3.

The committee will vote on several academic program proposals. Those include a B.S. in Immersive Media, Entertainment, and Gaming at Bowie State University; a B.S. in Coastal Engineering at Salisbury University; and a B.S. in Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Information Technology (IT) Operations and an M.S. in User-Centered Cybersecurity at the University of Baltimore.

The committee also will vote on academic program proposals at the University of Â鶹AV, Baltimore: Doctor of Social Work (D.S.W.); an M.S. in Medical and Health Studies; and an M.S. in AI Drug Development.

The committee will also hear three information items: the Â鶹AV report on academic programs delegated to the Chancellor during the 2024-25 academic year, a notification of Â鶹AV awards for Wilson H. Elkins Professorships and Â鶹AV Scholarships in 2024-25, and an update from the Universities at Shady Grove.
